Smoke from widespread wildfires in Canada prompted air quality alerts across several Midwest and Northeast U.S. states this week.

Every air quality monitor in Minnesota is reporting red or unhealthy conditions for everyone, an official said.

Dense Wildfire Smoke from Canadian Fires will continue to bring Unhealthy Air Quality to the Twin Cities and surrounding areas Today into Saturday morning then Southerly Winds Aloft will push the Smoke back north Saturday afternoon and Air Quality will be much improved Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
