Chargers, Los Angeles Rams

To their credit, the Chargers went out and fixed one of the roster’s biggest issues, something that’s coming to life by the day as rookies Tre Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith keep breaking out. Sports Illustrated’s Gilberto Manzano went as far as calling the issue “overblown” while summing up the position:
Tre' Harris and KeAndre Lambert-Smith didn't look like rookies on Saturday night. Instead, each 2025 draft pick brought their own spark to the offense and they made splash plays and offered a glimpse into the future, too,
On the third offensive play of the preseason exhibition between the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams, wide receiver Quentin Johnston suffered what appears to be a head injury after taking a huge hit from Rams defensive back Tanner Ingle. Johnston was struck hard and it appears his head hits the field, too.
The goal for the Los Angeles Chargers this offseason was to accumulate more offensive weapons. They accomplished that, adding names such as Tre Harris, KeAndre Lambert-Smith and bringing back franchise legend Keenan Allen last week to pair with Ladd McConkey. Don't forget about Omarion Hampton out of the backfield as well.
