Mark Hamill has revealed he planned to move out of the United States after President Donald Trump's reelection until his wife talked him out of it.

Mark Hamill very nearly pulled “an Ellen DeGeneres” and left the U.S. to avoid Donald Trump. The Star Wars star was speaking to The Times of London on Saturday when he revealed that he strongly considered the move after Trump was elected the second time.

The 73-year-old, known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the iconic sci-fi franchise, gave his wife Marilou Tork – whom he married in 1978 – the choice between relocating to “London or Ireland”.
