Meta Platforms said on Thursday it had resolved an error that flooded the personal Reels feeds of Instagram users with violent and graphic videos worldwide.

Instagram reportedly thinks sticking Reels in a separate app will remedy the sting of losing TikTok, but it may just leave us with two dying apps instead of one.

Meta apologized for an error that caused Instagram users to see violent and graphic content in their Reels feed, stating the issue had been fixed. Users had reported a surge in disturbing content despite having Instagram’s highest moderation settings enabled.
