One MLB insider recently suggested a Los Angeles Dodgers trade for Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes that would ruin baseball.

Paul Skenes is unlikely to be traded any time soon, but ESPN is mulling what it would take to lure the star hurler from the Pirates.

ESPN's David Schoenfield thinks the Mets have enough of a farm system to at least give themselves a chance. He pitches a five-player offer from the Mets to the Pirates: Jett Williams, Jonah Tong, Nolan McLean, Ronny Mauricio and Carson Benge. Pittsburgh doesn't seem like it'll be in a rush to move Skenes, even in the midst of another brutal season.
