Neymar is 33 and has played 13 games of football in the past two seasons. But there have been talks over a possible return to Barcelona

Despite having just returned to his boyhood club of Santos FC, speculation is already growing as to what Neymar’s next footballing destination will be. According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, there is an outside chance that the 33-year-old could return to FC Barcelona next summer.

Brazilian football star Neymar has said he could have ended up at Bayern Munich instead of Barcelona in 2013 because of coach Pep Guardiola. Neymar said in the Podpah podcast that he was visited by Guardiola in the middle of the night in January 2023 when both were at a FIFA gala in Zurich.
