The New Orleans Saints finally checked off a key offseason task recently. Inking quarterback Tyler Shough to his rookie contract had become a dark cloud over this portion of the offseason for the black and gold.

For the Saints, it was the fact that they are going to have a new head coach and quarterback after last year’s disappointment.

Shough, who is praised for his strong arm, enters the NFL with seven years of college experience and an ideal frame at 6-foot-5.
