There is a large police presence, including SWAT officers, outside a home in Gary, Indiana. The law enforcement response is concentrated in a neighborhood on Adams near 7th Avenue. There is a large SWAT vehicle in front of a home there, with officers carrying long guns.

A man was shot and killed by Gary police during a SWAT search on Wednesday. Officers were serving a warrant related to alleged drug activity at a home on Adams Street. Police say the man was armed, but it's unclear if he fired his weapon.
