Two Chicago men who were wrongfully convicted of a 2003 murder were awarded a massive settlement from the city. John Fulton and Anthony Mitchell both spent 16 years behind bars for the murder. Their lawyers said they were forced into making false confessions by Chicago police and Cook County prosecutors

John Fulton and Anthony Mitchell, who were 17 and 18 years old when they were arrested in 2003, were each sentenced to 31 years in prison following their 2006 convictions for the murder of Christopher Collazo.
