The Trump administration’s border tsar, Tom Homan, says efforts to resist deportation will lead to more ICE agents on the streets.

"Sanctuary cities will get exactly what they don’t want: more agents in the community and more collateral arrests," Tom Homan said.

Homan was joined by many of the state’s Republican elected officials, including Assembly member Michael Tannousis (R-East Shore/South Brooklyn), who chastised his Democratic colleagues, claiming they have prioritized the needs of migrants over New Yorkers.
