TACLOBAN CITY – House Speaker Martin Romualdez has stressed that the House of Representatives is not pressuring the Senate to fast-track or immediately conduct hearings on the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte.

The Philippine House of Representatives has impeached Vice President Sara Duterte on charges of corruption, abuse of power, and making death threats against President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Romualdez Marcos Jr.

Ahead of mid-term elections in May, Philippine politics seems destined to be consumed by the Marcos-Duterte feud.
