Anthony Davis has undergone an offseason surgery to repair a detached retina, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday. The Mavericks big man, according to Charania, played through the injury last season and is expected to be available for the start of training camp ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Davis underwent a procedure to "repair a detached retina that he suffered during the season," Shams Charania of ESPN reports. He adds that "Davis played through multiple hits to the face" and should be ready to go at the start of next season.
