Not sure if you need a Real ID come the May deadline this year? There’s a new way to find out. Illinois has launched a “portal” where residents can answer questions to determine if they need a Real ID and when.

Starting on May 7, state-issued driver’s licenses will no longer be accepted as a valid form of identification for domestic flights or at certain federal facilities.

The Illinois Secretary of State is hoping to help answer some questions with a new software on his website ahead of the federal government enforcing REAL ID requirements.
