The Cincinnati Bengals added their first notable outside free agent of the legal tampering window on Monday by agreeing to sign defensive tackle TJ Slaton. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Bengals agreed to a two-year deal worth $15.1 million for Slaton.

The Cincinnati Bengals are signing former Green Bay Packers defensive tackle T.J. Slaton on a two-year deal worth $15.1 million. Slaton, a fifth-round draft pick in 2021, reunites with his former coach in Jerry Montgomery who now serves as the Bengals’ defensive line coach. Montgomery coached Slaton in Green Bay in 2021.
