Online influencers and podcasters Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate arrived in the United States Thursday after authorities in Romania, where they face charges of human trafficking, lifted travel restrictions against them.

Andrew Tate said he and his brother are “largely misunderstood” and said they have “no criminal record anywhere.”

An attorney for the brothers said they are citizens of the United States and part of an ongoing defamation case in a Florida court.
