NASCAR driver Cole Custer defends decisions after criticism for role in Daytona 500 wrecks
Cole Custer isn’t sweating his role in two crashes at the end of Sunday night’s Daytona 500. Though Custer drew criticism from some drivers and fans for triggering two “Big Ones” — the first with five laps remaining in the race and the second on the final lap — the Haas Factory Team driver said he was not second-guessing himself much in the aftermath.
