The Golden State Warriors will play their first game without Jimmy Butler, who was ruled out of Saturday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers because of back spasms. Head coach Steve Kerr said Butler began experiencing back issues when he took a hit from Orlando's Wendell Carter Jr.

Jimmy Butler missed his first game Saturday for the Golden State Warriors since his team debut. Considered questionable Friday night, Butler was scratched with back spasms for Golden State’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers at Wells Fargo Center,

Acquired from Miami on, Feb. 6, Butler was injured in Golden State’s 121-115 victory at Orlando on Thursday night. Warriors coach Steve Kerr said that he didn’t even realize Butler had been injured in a collision with Magic center Wendell Carter.
