India fired attack drones into Pakistan on Thursday, wounding four soldiers, the Pakistani military said. India, meanwhile, accused its neighbor of attempting its own attack, as tensions soared between the nuclear-armed rivals.

Tensions between the nuclear-armed neighbors have soared since gunmen killed 26 people, mostly Indian Hindu tourists, in India-controlled Kashmir last month.

Pakistan armed forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions along India's entire western border on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, the Indian Army said in a post on X on Friday.
