The Houston Astros have their work cut out for themselves to take this series after falling in Monday's opener with the Detroit Tigers.

The Tigers' bats began to come alive in the fourth inning in support of Flaherty. Wenceel Perez blasted his 10th home run, off losing pitcher Spencer Arrighetti, giving the Tigers a 1-0 lead.

Jack Flaherty opened with four scoreless innings before surrendering five runs on six hits in the 5th inning of a 9-6 loss.

The Detroit Tigers hit a swoon heading into the All-Star break and coming out of it when they lost six games in a row and 12 out of 13 contests. But since that
