A car crashed into a tree late Tuesday afternoon on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in Bronzeville. Police said at 4:56 p.m., an 18-year-old man was driving a black Cadillac sedan on southbound DuSable Lake Shore Drive just north of 31st Street, when he lost control and hit a tree. The car was split in half by the force of the crash.
