Miller's return to Xavier lasted three seasons after reports Sunday that he is leaving the Musketeers for the Texas Longhorns.

According to The Austin American-Statesman’s Cedric Golden and Horns247’s Chip Brown, Xavier’s Sean Miller is expected to be hired as the program’s new head coach. The move comes just a few hours after Rodney Terry was reportedly informed he was being let go.

Texas dismissed head basketball coach Rodney Terry on Sunday, with the Austin American-Statesman and other outlets reporting that the Longhorns will hire Xavier’s Sean Miller as their next coach.

Texas won their first two games of the SEC Tournament defeating Vanderbilt and then Texas A&M to secure their spot in the NCAA Tournament. Freshman Tre Johnson is the leading scorer for the Longhorns averaging 19.8 points per game.
