Shey Peddy is the Fever’s most recent acquisition after a myriad of devastating injuries. She hopes she can be a stabilizing force.

The defeat marked Indiana’s 14th straight game without superstar Caitlin Clark, who remains out with a right groin injury with no timetable for return. The latest blows could force a roster shake-up before Sunday’s rematch in Minneapolis at 7 p.m. ET.

Peddy, a six-year WNBA veteran, most recently appeared with the Los Angeles Sparks, averaging 5.0 points and 2.7 assists over six games on a hardship contract. Prior to her time in Los Angeles, Peddy split her career between the Phoenix Mercury and Washington Mystics, starting her WNBA career in 2019.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham left Sunday’s win over the Connecticut Sun early in the second quarter after suffering an apparent knee injury, never to return. After going through an MRI, the Fever announced on Tuesday that the former Phoenix Mercury guard has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Team officials did not provide details about the injury, the third season-ending one Indiana has experienced this month.
